2. SETTING SENSITIVITY--Press SET, sensitivity level bar flashes. Press UP/DOWN to higher/lower the sensitivity, press ENTER to confirm.
3. SETTING VOLUME--Press SET three times, the volume icon flashes. Press UP/DOWN to higher/lower the volume. Press ENTER to confirm.
4. SETTING THE OPERATION MODE--Three operating modes of ALL METAL, DISC, PINPOINT.
a. ALL METAL--Used for detecting all types of metal.
Press SET twice, ENTER to get ALL METAL. In this mode, the unit can detect all kinds of metal(Platinum cant be detected).
b. DISC/NOTCH--used for target discrimination. Set the target range or eliminate the target you don’t want.
Press SET twice, the blank frame flashes, press UP/DOWN to choose the target you want. Press MODE to eliminated/pick up. Press ENTER to confirm.
Note: A crossed frame is for item eliminated.
c. PINPOINT--After you find a metal object, you can use P/P to pinpoint the target. Press the P/P button. LCD will display P/P. Slowly move the search coil above the sound area. The detector sounds and the depth indicator on the LCD display the probable depth of the target.

Q1: The detector constantly beeps on everything
--Do not test indoor, some metals embedded in the building or large appliances in the house will Interference detection
--Reduce the sensitivity to prevent receiving interference and false signal. Please do not use it in highly mineralized areas. (Do not set the SENS to Max level)
Q2: It does not work/ cant detect anything
--You can follow this: Increase sensitivity --- Recover all target range -- Adjust the search coil angel to be parallel with the ground
--Or try to press the PP button, If there is no arrow on the display, please check the Five-pin connection cable, it might be connected incorrectly
Q3: The detector false readings at times/doesnt give accurate readings
Many metals are now alloy metals, perhaps copper-nickel alloys, silver-copper alloys, or aluminum alloys, so different readings will appear during the test or there will be fluctuations in different metal types on the display. But it will eventually In the target value display with high alloy content
--You can: 1. Reduce sensitivity to eliminate the detection of the deeper target 2. Sweep the search coil more slowly with different angles and hold the detector correctly
Q4: The battery is not durable
--It can last 8 hours with two 9V batteries. Please prepare two rechargeable 9V batteries to avoid battery waste. Wear headphones or turn off the backlight can give longer time to use
Q5: Tested with various coins and did not consistently detect even though settings had not changed
--When two different coins are relatively close and the probe moves faster, the missed alarms will occur. It is recommended that the probe move the search coil slower and try to move in different directions to increase the accuracy of detection.
Use Tip:The detector responds with a signal when it detects the most valuable metal objects. If a signal does not repeat after you sweep the search coil over the target a few times, the target is probably junk metal.
