●High Strength: After complete curing, Shear strength can be comparable to that of metal materials (609 ≈ Aluminum, 620 & 680 ≈ Copper, 603 & 638 ≈ %0.1 C Steel, 648 ≈ %0.2 C Steel), Ensuring efficient and stable operation of the equipment. Needs to be heated to 250 ℃/482℉ when disassembling, and mechanical auxiliary equipment is required.
●Applicable Scope: Suitable for the assembly of any smooth, unthreaded cylindrical metal components, Such as keys and shafts, bearing, rotor shaft, bushing, casing, cylinder liner, key slot, valve sleeve, movement sleeve, valve bushing etc. Choose the appropriate use according to the characteristics of different models.

Brief Introduction to ESKONKE Retaining Compound

ESKONKE retaining adhesive can improve the shear strength of cylindrical unthreaded assembly operations.

The holding adhesive has the ability to transfer loads to the maximum extent and can evenly disperse them, eliminating stress concentration and corrosion at the assembly interface.

As a liquid application, holding adhesive can achieve 100% bonding on two metal bonding surfaces, reducing the cost of improving part processing accuracy and improving assembly process efficiency.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Curing conditions: metal material; air isolation; Gap is lower than the maximum gap;
  • Make sure the components are at room temperature, dry and clean. The cleaning solvent can use trichloroethane, trichloroethylene, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, etc. It is not suitable to use gasoline, kerosene, fuel oil, hydrocarbon solvents, etc., which are easy to leave an oil film on the metal surface;
  • Grinding the metal surface that needs to be bonded is beneficial to improve the bonding strength;
  • Not suitable for use in pure oxygen or oxygen-enriched environments, and cannot be used as a sealing material for chlorine or other oxidizing substances;
  • Not suitable for bonding porous materials such as plastic, wood, paper, etc. For active metals such as steel, copper, and alloy metals, it has fast curing and high strength, and for inert metals such as stainless steel, zinc, and cadmium, it has slow curing and low strength. Please understand product compatibility before use;
  • When dismantling, it can cooperate with mechanical auxiliary equipment and heat the components to 200~300°C (392~572°F), or it can be dismantled after soaking with special scavenger for a long time;
  • Seal as soon as possible after use to avoid volatilization of active ingredients;
  • Do not pour the unused glue back to avoid contamination;
  • Do not replace the storage container during storage. In order to avoid curing during transportation, the actual capacity is only half of the bottle capacity;
  • Store in cool/normal temperature (8~21℃/46~70°F), avoid sunlight.
