The 3 Prong and 5 Prong Flounder Gig are the staple products Outrigger Outdoors was founded on. They have been upgraded to 17-4 stainless steel, from 316 stainless steel, for premium strength and durability. Our flounders gigs were originally designed to meet the needs of commercial fishermen by standing up to the corrosive saltwater environment and capable of withstanding the force of being used as a push pole while navigating your boat at night. They were designed to stand up for what flounder gigging, fish gigging, and spearing throws at them. These fish gigs will easily slide over any 3/4-inch NPS (nominal pipe size) conduit, pipe, or pole. The actual OD of the pipe you mount these to should be approximately 1.0"-1.05" in diameter.
