Description

The Vestil ST-12-16X3-BL heavy-duty poly strapping is a 4,500-ft. roll of polypropylene strapping that can be used with a Vestil STRAP-VH, STRAP-P2, or STRAP-PS-HD strapping cart (sold separately) to bundle materials to a pallet or platform for shipping or to secure other items in place. This strapping is made of polypropylene, which is lighter than steel and resistant to shocks and splitting. The strapping measures 4,500 ft. long and 1/2" wide, weighs 12 lb., and has a tensile strength of 300 pounds. The core of the roll measures 3" wide and 16" in diameter.

Pallet strappers, also known as strapping machines and banding machines, are used to bundle loads with straps to secure them for storage or transport. Pallet strappers are typically fitted with a roll of strapping, and they can be semiautomatic for low to medium use or fully automatic for high-volume applications, such as at postal facilities or shipping companies. Some pallet strappers are handheld. The strapping itself can be made of metal, polyester, nylon, and other materials, depending on the items to be secured. Pallet strappers can be used in manufacturing and shipping facilities and in other industrial environments.

Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.
