A: Remote control NOT included, there is an ON/ OFF button and a function button on the back of the solar panel.

Q: Is there a way to keep these rope lights on when my deck light is also on or on the daytime?

A: Cover up the solar panel.

Q: Could I cut the length of this solar outdoor rope lights to fit? Or can I hook two strands together to make it longer?

A: No, cant cut or hook two strands together.It will cause the solar rope lights outdoor to stop working. If you think it is too long, you could try to wind it a few times.

Q: Do these lights give off heat?

How to Use?

How to check the solar panel is ON during the day?

Cover the solar panel, if the lights bright up that means the button is in the "ON".
If not push in the button once again and put the unit in the sun for another hour. Cover the solar panel again and it should light up.

Notice:

Shade or weather has a great influence on the run time of solar string lights. The solar panel must be placed at a shadow-less location to receive maximum sunlight during the daytime hours. Rainy day and cloudy day will dim.
The solar panel can be easily 270° adjusted. To maximise the run time of solar string lights, make sure that the solar panel is charged direct sunshine.
