Description

An interface cable for connecting the Yamaha Engine to the NMEA2000 network allows you to view the engine parameters in real time on the screen of your chartplotter sounder. Most Yamaha outboard motors can connect to the same NMEA2000 network. This allows you to transfer service information from the engine to head equipment (multifunction displays and echo sounders) Lowrance, Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine and others.

An interface cable for connecting the Yamaha Engine to the NMEA2000 network allows you to view the engine parameters in real time on the screen of your chartplotter sounder. Connecting the Yamaha Engine to the NMEA 2000 network allows you to view the following data:

  • RPM
  • Engine Hours
  • Water Pressure
  • Alternator Voltage
  • Trim
  • Fuel Rate
  • Oil Pressure
  • Fuel Pressure
  • Engine Temperature

Depending on the engine model, you can get information about the speed, voltage, hours of operation, temperature, flow rate, oil pressure and a number of additional service data. The Yamaha motor interface cable allows you to connect a Yamaha motor directly to the NMEA2000 network. This does not require CommandLink or CommandLink Plus systems. How to connect a Yamaha motor to NMEA: Use a T-connector (included) to connect one side of the cable to the mains, and connect the other part of the cable to the motor using a special connector. Please note, when placing an order, you need to find out whether or not you have a CommandLink system. In CommandLink, the hub is not powered by the NMEA2000 bus, which prevents the consoles Yamaha devices from turning on with the engine off. If your boat has two galvanically isolated power circuits (starting and service circuits) and a CommandLink system installed, it is necessary to use a Yamaha gateway.
