The Design Engineering Exhaust Wrap Kit is an all-in-one kit for wrapping a set of headers or motorcycle pipes. Kit includes two 2" x 50ft rolls of Black Titanium exhaust wrap, Locking Ties and Free Locking Tie Tool. Design Engineering Black Titanium Exhaust Wrap, with LR Technology, is made from pulverized lava rock, stranded into a fiber material then woven into a proprietary weave. Black Titanium wrap is engineered to be stronger than most wraps and more durable for improved thermal performance and reliability. Designed to be pliable and resistant to chemical oil spills and vibration breakdown; it secures tightly without pre-wetting and is able to withstand direct heat up to 1800°F and intermittent heat up to 2500°F. The header wrap kit is enough for any set of V8 headers. The Header Wrap Kit will wrap from the top of the header where it bolts to the heads all the way down to the collector. Exhaust Wrap Kits save you time and money. NOTE: Wrapping of the catalytic converter is not recommended, as overheating can lead to reduced lifetime of the converter.
