Our Dumond paint removers are water-based and can dry out before completing their task of removing unwanted paint. Dumond Laminated Paper covers the remover, protecting it from sunlight and hot external temperatures to trap moisture and maintain that crucial "wet state".
This speeds up the remover, allowing it to work faster and longer to completely remove the paint beneath!
Lead paint is dangerous to those who breathe it, especially to young children, who may put peeling lead chips in their mouths. When removal of lead paint is the best option, Dumonds Laminated Paper clings to the paint remover and the lead paint its removing to trap lead dusts and chips to the papers surface. This prevents that lead debris from entering the air.
In conjunction with proper PPE protection, this helps reduce lead particles from entering the lungs.
Because our paint removers cling to Dumond Laminated Paper, cleanup is much easier.
Working in sections, simply use a scraper to gently separate the remover and old paint from the surface onto Dumond Laminated Paper. The paper can then be folded and disposed of along with the removal waste. No fuss, no muss!
Do it Yourself, with Dumond!
