Notes on Use

  • Appropriately reducing the cutting speed and feed speed can prolong the service life of the reamer;
  • When working, it is necessary to add cutting fluid to protect the cutting edge to make the cutting smoother;
  • When the oxide film or other hardened layer remains on the surface of the workpiece, it can be removed by reverse milling.

Feature<1>

  • It adopts a suitable negative rake angle design, which is effective in anti-vibration and has good guiding performance.
  • The use of large core diameter enhances the rigidity of the tool to make cutting and chip removal stable.

Feature<2>

  • The shank is finely ground and chamfered, with a high horizontal reference.
  • Efficient clamping and high concentricity provide high accuracy for product processing.

Feature<3>

  • Wide chip flute, H7 high precision
  • Smooth inner surface, Smooth chip removal without residue

Explanation of Reaming Allowance

  • In order to improve its dimensional accuracy and hole surface quality, reasonable reaming can effectively improve the hole accuracy and surface quality.
  • Generally, the reaming allowance is 0.1-0.25mm (one side). For larger diameter holes, the reaming allowance should be increased appropriately, but the allowance should not be greater than 0.3mm.
  • There is an experience that suggests to reserve a thickness of 1-3% of the reamer diameter as the reaming allowance (diameter value). For example, it is more appropriate to add a Φ20 reamer with a hole diameter of about Φ19.6: 20-(20×2/ 100)=19.6
  • Reaming allowances are usually made smaller for hard materials and some aerospace materials.
