Easy to Unclog A Clogged Drain: repeat the step 1-4 process as needed until the clog is cleared

Step 1Loosen the thumbscrew and slowly push the cable into the drain, shove as much in as you can before it stops. |
Step 2Once the cable stops moving forward when it through the P-trap, the U-shaped section of pipe under the sink, or at any other bend or obstacles in the pipe, tighten the thumbscrew. |
Step 3Turn the drum clockwise. A couple of turns should help the auger end get through the bends in the drain. This will force the cable to go further into your drain pipe causing a cleaning action. |
Step 4Loosen the thumbscrew and pull the snake back out of the drain. The cable may have a large hair clog stuck to its end when it comes out of the drain. Its also a good idea to wipe off the snake with a rag as you slide it into the drum. |
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Some sinks you may need to remove the drain hole cover or undo the p-trap if there is a drain strainer stopper that could not be detachable.
- This drain auger is not specially designed to unclog a toilet blockage. Do not use it on the toilet, it may scratch the delicate porcelain of bowl.
- The cable is not anchored to the auger drum and does not let it out all of the ways in case of falling it into the pipe or drain. If you have pulled it all out of the drum, just feed it back.
- Don’t snake a drain if you’ve poured drain cleaners into the sink. The chemicals can cause serious burns if they splash on your skin. We recommend using our sink snake first when the water in your kitchen sink won’t drain or drains slowly.
