Sterling Silver Chain
Note: This silver chain does not add any chemical components, so it will not cause allergies. It will have a slight discoloration when exposed to moisture, which is a normal oxidation reaction.
Here are some tips for cleaning sterling silver products:
- The sterling silver box chain package contains a polish cloth, use this soft cloth to clean and polish the silver gently. Use the polishing cloth on sterling silver only.
- Put a sheet of aluminum foil in a cereal or salad bowl, shiny side up. Fill the container with enough boiling water to cover the silver. Add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda, a pinch of salt and stir. Place your silver in the water solution for about five minutes. Make sure each piece of silver touches the aluminum foil. After five minutes, rinse off the silver and let it dry naturally. Each piece will sparkle without rubbing or polishing! It might take several times to do this. Not recommended for hollow jewelry as there may be tiny itsy bitsy holes where water can get inside.
- Again, this is for silver only, with no stones. Apply a thin layer of toothpaste with baking soda to your silver. Rub off in small circular motions with a soft cloth.
