L-Bow began in 1991 when a mother of four needed a solution for her kids’ chapped, cold wrists in snowy Minnesota.
I started as part of L-Bow’s research and development team at age three, creating the original, patented, and proprietary long gauntlet L-Bow mitten.
After that, we continued to innovate new, practical, and safe children’s soft good products.

L-Bow Mittens take over where ordinary mittens leave off. With our unique gaiter, our mittens secure easily over the elbow and fit outside childrens winter clothing. No more cold, chapped, or snow-packed wrists. And L-Bow Mittens stay on without strings or clips.
A universal thumb means no more searching for tiny thumb holes and either mitten will fit a left or right hand (in small and medium sizes).
