Feature(may vary by option.)

●DURABLE - Black Heavy duty 1 gallon industrial grade 80 mil buckets with BLACK lids. Repeating for emphasis... 80 mil! Thats a heavier wall than some 5 gallon buckets out there!
●SAFE - High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) is FDA compliant (food grade) and is not a candidate for BPA (BPA Free) // Made in USA from USA sourced resin.
●SECURE - Without removing the tamper evidencing tear strip, lids can be installed with a rubber mallet. Removal of the tear strip from the perimeter of the lid releases the four tabs so that the lid can be removed. Lids can be re-used for simple snap-on installation after the tear stip is removed. Lids do require firm placement. This is not quite the easy on/off of common kitchenware plastic containers.
●DIMENSIONS - The bucket alone measures roughly 7-3/8" tall with a rim diameter at about 8" or just under. The base diameter is something less than 6-7/8". The bucket is tapered as is typical. Also typical of buckets, the the taper is not a straight line but tends to taper more at the lower extremes. Overall width accounting for the handle is about 8-1/2". Assembled height approx. 8.5". All dimensions are approximate.

Description

This kit includes our heavy duty 80mm 1-gallon BLACK buckets with BLACK snap-on lids with O-ring gaskets. Lids have tear strips for secure first-time use. Remove the tear strip to remove the lid. The lid can be re-used after the tear strip is removed. The lids have four tabs for engagement of the rim of the bucket. Between the tabs the lid is essentially rim-less and with the gasket captured but partially visible between the tabs. Snapping and un-snapping the lid requires some force… though it may be less than one might typically expect from an industrial bucket lid, it is not to be compared with plastic kitchenware products. Some folks with limited hand strength may find them difficult. Initial installation of the lid prior to removal of the tear strip is best accomplished with a rubber mallet (not included). Removal of the lids can be facilitated by the use of a ‘bucket wrench’ or ‘lid lifter’ available separately. Note: ‘Food grade’ markings are not required in the US. Portions of the industry object to the term favoring "FDA compliant materials." The resin manufacturer will produce resin that they identify as FDA compliant. The molder will then declare the use of FDA compliant materials.... casually referred to as food grade by regular folks like you and I. Some retailers will put a sticker on the bucket but weve yet to see one marked as such through our supply chain. HDPE is a preferred material of food packagers. ‘BPA’ is a chemical used in some plastics but not in HDPE. BPA free markings are not typical with HDPE. The industry accepted terminology is BPA non-intent but we reference ‘BPA free’ to efficiently communicate that this product is a great solution for those concerned about BPA. Outbound shipping is included in the price! However, our actual shipping expenses do reduce the funds available for refund in the event of an elective return.
