Can I use the pigment pellets by themselves?
Technically, yes, you can use pigment packs by themselves. Since they are highly concentrated, we recommend mixing them with white InstaMorph, as you only need 1-2 coloring pellets per tablespoon of white InstaMorph to achieve great coloring results.
Can I pour InstaMorph into a mold?
Due to the melt flow index of InstaMorph, it cant technically be poured into a mold, however, you should be able to successfully press it into one (similar to clay).
Whats the best glue to use with InstaMorph?
InstaMorph itself is like hot melt glue when warm, so it will stick to some things on its own. When you want to attach cooled InstaMorph to something or need extra strength, we recommend either epoxy or super glue, as they work well with plastics.
Will friction heat affect InstaMorph?
Yes, friction heat will affect InstaMorph. If you need to drill, grind, or sand your creation once it has cooled, make sure to do it lightly and slowly, as the low melting point could activate if too much friction heat is applied.
Is InstaMorph dishwasher safe?
InstaMorph isnt dishwasher safe, as water temperatures above 140 degrees Fahrenheit will soften the material, causing it to lose its shape. We recommend only washing your creations in cold water so they will keep their shape.
