Description

This is a pack of 25 1/4" (0.25 inch) hardwood fret position markers, laser-cut from 1/8" thick hardwood panels. These are sized perfectly for inserting into 1/4" holes drilled in your cigar box guitar fretboard or neck, for marking the key fret positions (usually the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 12th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st and 24th frets). These are best installed by using a 1/4" Forstner bit to drill a shallow (just less than 1/8" deep) hole, then gluing them in with wood glue, and then sanding flush. There will be just a hair of wiggle room around the perimeter of the dot to allow some space for the glue.

Fret position markers are a great way to spruce up an instrument build and give it that extra touch of class. It has never been easier to get exactly sized position makers in a range of hardwoods than it is now with these packs.
