It has solid gripping power that wont slip under the weight of a light fixture. The included 5/8" reversible baby pin stud provides the option to mount fixtures with 5/8" receivers either above or below the arm. The studs 1/4"-20 tip allows the use of standard accessories like ball heads, LED lights, or microphones that can turn your column stand into a complete camera or lighting rig.
