Control box part is NOT recommended to be under water, especially at long term work. It’s recommended to be placed off-water/ dry location.

Kindly Note: It is only the whole set of pump that is included, with rated voltage of DC power 12V. NO power supply is offered. About the rectangle-shaped metal box, it is the controlbox (brain) part of the pump product, and it is NOT power adapter. Please be not confused.

NEW FEATURE: DRY-RUN PROTECTION feature is added on the pump’s design in default. Pump works at rated voltage: When there exists insufficient in-flow or no in-flow (or significant bubble inside the in-flow), pumps DRY-RUN protection will be triggered: Pump will access status of stop-run-stop-run-stop-run---cycle. When in-flow comes sufficiently again, pump will then re-access normal run performance after seconds latency. -- This DRY-RUN protection is aimed to protect our pump product from DRY RUN for long time in some context, which will physically damage the rotor and pump connection part. Pump could be dead due to long-time DRY RUN. This is a good protection. Yet, DRY-RUN itself is always not good thing.

Important Notes about Pump’s use & installation

  • DC 12V power supply. No direct AC power powering or over-voltage powering.
  • If it is AC/DC Power adapter, make sure that it can offer sufficient power to pump: output capacity be 12VDC, >4A (12V*4V ~ 48W). Note that Power supply cannot be placed in water or moisty location.
  • Control box part is NOT recommended to be under water, especially at long term work. It’s recommended to be placed off-water/ dry location. Firm waterproof tapes (or even epoxy l materials) can be closely sealed on the controlbox part before it is placed under water, to streghten its waterproof class, if really have to. Just for in case.
  • Pump supports continuous long time work with relatively low noise at normal working environment. Land use or submersible installation can be either OK, yet pump cannot be self-priming. Make sure that fluid can actively flow passing through inlet/outlet because pump works via centrifugal force of high-speed rotation of impeller inside (to push/throw in-flow out). No long-time dry work without in-flow, or it may damage the pump (Even though DRY-RUN Protection is equiped.).
  • Do NOT throw the pump or install it violently, as it could damage the pump body. Do NOT throw the pump directly through the cable, to avoid damage of cable. When at installation, please do not violently to break the pump’s bracket base part, impacting the external appearance and convenience of installation.
  • FIX the pump somewhere when at work, avoiding its own moving-around due to reaction force when at work, which will result in factual pumps DRY-RUN even under water. Also, if it is a circulation system and water will drop back to the tank, avoid the pump installation directly below the water dripping down, to avoid a lot of air bubbles that flow into.
  • When at installation, especially for long term work, do not place the pump upside down (outlet downwards, or inlet downwards). Do place the pump normally upwards, or at least sideways.
  • Impurities shall be avoided, to avoid blockade of impeller due to impurity accumulcation. When for sea/salt water pumping, avoid crystallization.
  • About power polarity: It is DC head connector in default: DC5.5*2.1 (compatible with DC5.5*2.5), INNER PIN + OUTER -. if naked wire connector, RED/BORWN wire is Positive, BLACK/BLUE wire is Negative. DC 12V.
  • To avoid possible misunderstanding of relevant parameters, here we also say something about flow rate value & max static lift value of pump products:
  • For static lift value, it means the max vertical height of flow column when outlet is connected with external matching hose/tube, working at rated voltage. For max flow rate value, it means the max flow rate of pump at horizontal level, working at rated voltage. The higher the height, the lower the flow; when height reaches lift value, flow rate becomes zero. Note that lift value and spraying/shooting heightof pump are completely different. So dear users, please do not be confused by them. Meanwhile, certain deviation of around +-10%~15% is advised to be left when in relevant applications, to leave enough margin.
