Canicross is a dog-powered sport where you and your dog run together as a team. Your dog runs in front of you, pulling.

Running stimulates your dog’s needs for mental and physical exercise. An active lifestyle is known to have a positive effect on behavioral issues may dog owners struggle with, such as separation anxiety, stress, aggression towards other dogs and destructive behavior.

All you need to get started with canicross is a waist belt, a bungee leash, a pulling-harness and some good running shoes!

How to adjust the CaniX belt


  1. Loosen all straps and unbuckle the front piece, pass your legs through the leg straps.
  2. Tighten the strap around your waist so it sits comfortably above your hip bones, tighten the leg straps.
  3. Use the webbing to adjust the rear pocket so it sits at the middle of your bum.
  4. Fasten the front piece. Make sure it doesnt go under the leg straps/waist strap.
  5. Adjust the front piece. Recommended distance between your body and the carabiner is 15cm/6inch. The carabiner should be placed with the screw-lock up.
