External Diameter

Measure the external diameter or length of object with the longer jaws. Easily clamp the object between two parallel sides of jaws.

Internal Diameter

Measure the internal diameter of object with the top shorter jaws. Especially suitable for the inside width of a shaft.

Step

Measure the length and height from one surface to the next with the bottom back edge of the external measuring jaw and the top back edge of the internal measuring jaw.
