Product Description

The GripGrab Arctic Deep Winter Shoe Covers are one of the warmest shoe covers available on the market and are ideal for very cold winter days. Made from 4 mm thick fleece-lined waterproof neoprene, they provide maximum insulation and water-repellence. These zipper-less overshoes also feature IntelliSeal – an ingenious technology that greatly enhances durability and water resistance thanks to the coated seams at the bottom of the shoe covers. Their zipperless design changes the way how you put on your overshoes. First, you pull the shoe covers up your calves. Only then do you put on your cycling shoes. Finally, you pull the overshoes down your legs and fit them over your shoes. At the sole, the wide Velcro closure will allow you to easily adjust the covers to your shoes. The Arctic shoe covers will keep you cycling, however cold, dark, and wet the winter gets. Choose the neon yellow design for added visibility in traffic. These are unisex overshoes for men and women. GripGrab Tip: Combine these shoe covers with a pair of warm socks and give them a damp wipe with a clean cloth after your ride.

• How do you put these shoe covers on?

These overshoes are put on before you put on your shoes. The wide hook and loop fastener at the sole allows you to easily get them on and off and adjust them to your shoes. On the packaging, we have included a detailed step-by-step guide on how to put them on.

• What is the IntelliSeal Technology?

IntelliSeal is a rubberized coating of the binding at the bottom of the shoe cover. This prevents the shoe cover from wicking away the rainwater from the road and results in a warmer and dryer construction. It also allows the shoe cover to sit tighter around the sole of the shoe and therefore making it harder for water to get inside the shoe cover from the bottom. Lastly, the rubber coating provides durable protection from wear and tear and makes the stitches last longer, adding to the overall durability of the shoe covers.

• Why is there no zipper at the rear?

A zipper can break, which cant happen if you dont have one. There also is no chaffing or rubbing, which could in some cases lead to rider discomfort. Despite the best efforts, zippers often are a weak point when it comes to water resistance. The new design allows the shoe cover to sit tightly around the leg and the shoe, making it more difficult for water to run down the leg and into the shoe cover.
