SnoBlox-Snojax is an industry leader, specializing in snow retention for metal roofs. We offer a wide range of polycarbonate and metal snow guard products, including Snojax I (the first polycarbonate snow guard) and Snojax II (the first adhesive-mounted snow guard). With a focus on quality and service, SnoBlox-Snojax has been a trusted supplier in the industry since 1976, known for our innovative snow retention systems.
Being in the metal building business since 1963, we encountered problems with metal snow guards quickly oxidizing. Unhappy with existing solutions causing rust marks on metal roofs, we aimed to develop a superior, non-corrosive, nearly invisible snow guard that wouldnt affect a buildings aesthetics. Following extensive testing, we patented the worlds first clear, non-corrosive, polycarbonate snow guard, now called Snojax I.
Our mission is to be the most trusted provider of snow guards by offering the highest quality products and unmatched service.
All plastic snow guards are not created equal. We only use 100% virgin, polycarbonate, manufactured in the USA. Our test results show that metal and polycarbonate snow guards have similar performance when installed with a proper layout. The only suitable metals to make pad-style snow guards is 304 stainless steel or aluminum. Many times, the decision is more aesthetic than strength-based for our customers. Only polycarbonate snow guards can be mounted with adhesive on standing seam roofs.
VentSavers innovative fin cuts through packed ice and snow, causing it to divert around stack pipes, chimneys, or vent pipes.
In areas with winter precipitation, it is advisable to install a well-designed snow guard system on a sloped roof. If you pair snow guards with a VentSaver, your roof will be fully protected. Isolated placements like just above a vent pipe or chimney are never recommended! Isolated placements will become overloaded and fail, resulting in damage to the vent pipe, the panels, and/or roof structure.
Heavy duty protection for heave snow load areas!
