How to use it?

  1. Power Down: Begin by turning off your amplifier to ensure safety.
  2. Connect the Tester: Attach the Nobsound tester to your amplifier.
  3. Remove and Replace Tubes: Carefully remove the power tubes from the amplifier and insert them into the bias probe sockets provided by the tester.
  4. Probe Placement: Insert the bias meter probes into the original tube sockets of the amplifier.
  5. Warm-Up Phase: Power on the amplifier and allow the tubes to warm up for approximately 5 minutes to reach operational temperature.
  6. Reading Bias Current: After the warm-up, take the bias current measurements using the dual current meters.
  7. Meter Readings: Note the readings on Current meter "A" for input "A" and Current meter "B" for input "B". Identical readings on both meters indicate perfect balance.
  8. Check for Balance: If the readings differ, aim for no more than a 2 or 3 milliamp discrepancy to maintain a good balance between the tubes.
