1) New, uncoated concrete

New concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 30 days prior to epoxy coating application. Clean the concrete before applying the epoxy.

1.1) Previously coated concrete or damaged concrete

If your concrete was previously coated, we recommend to slightly sand it. If your concrete is damaged, you should repair any cracks or imperfections before applying the epoxy. Clean the concrete before applying the epoxy.

2) Mixing

Our floor epoxy product use a 2A:1B mixing ratio by Volume. For example, if you pour 1 gallon of (A), you will need 0.5 gallon of (B).

We recommend to mix for about 1 minute when using a drill mixer (or 3 min. if mixing by hand) and scrape the sides of the bucket while mixing.

3) Application method

We recommend to in 100 square foot sections. Use a notched rubber squeegee and /or a 3/8" thick lint-free roller with a phenolic core (epoxy compatible).

The recommended thickness is 8mils. Spread the product evenly across the entire section, move the squeegee gently and slowly to avoid trapping air bubbles in the epoxy film.

Make all final passes parallel and in the same direction.

Drying times (at 21°C, 50% humidity)

Re-coat or topcoat 8-12 hours
Light foot traffic 12-24 hours
Full cure (heavy traffic) 7 days
Mixed viscosity 500-600 cps
