●Volume adjustment and low-force dispensing all in one button for convenience

Description

The Pearl Pipettes by Heathrow Scientific were designed to work, simply. Pearl pipettes were specifically engineered for ease of use and comfort. Our engineers reviewed and re-designed each functional part to create the simplest, most comfortable option available on the market. We started with a sleek, streamlined barrel that fits comfortably even in smaller hands. The barrel surface is smooth and non-slip to reduce skin irritation and allow a surface for labeling.

We added an ergonomic curve to the finger grip and a slight downward tilt to the tip ejector button to ensure a comfortable hand position while dispensing or changing tips. The color-coded plunger at the top of the Pearl pipette controls both dispensing and volume adjustment. Simply turn the plunger to set the three-position volume display. A locking ring locks the selected volume in place and is set within the body of the pipette to prevent accidental changes to volume during use.

Finally, responsiveness and accuracy are the most important functions during operation. The plunger assembly was designed from the ground up to reduce user hand strain. Each Pearl pipette requires just 2/3rds the pressure of a standard pipette, reducing hand fatigue and the potential for repetitive strain injuries (RSI).

The Pearl family of air-displacement pipettes includes ten adjustable volume instruments that cover a complete range of volumes from 0.1 µL to 10,000 µL. Each Pearl pipette is built around a precision-engineered metal internal shaft and tip barrel. The result is increased accuracy and calibration stability, as well as enhanced chemical resistance. The outer shell is constructed from easy-to-clean polypropylene. The entire unit can be autoclaved.
