Can be used single-handed in two ways – as a clamp or spreader. Simply remove the fixed jaw and move to the opposite side to transform from clamp to spreader. Spreading capacity is 3/4inch less and 6-1/4inch more than maximum opening capacity.

Reinforced nylon sliding heads quickly and smoothly advance one-handed quickly and produce maximum strength by squeezing the pump lever. Head quickly advances a full ¼ inch with each pump. Press the steel release lever to undo clamping pressure. Both jaws come with soft, non-marring, glue resistant clamp pads.

Bars are I-beam in cross-section, made from hardened and blackened high carbon steel, are 9/16 inch x 3/16 inch and resist bending and racking even under full force.
