EASY TO USE, EVEN FOR BEGINNERS - You don’t need to be an expert on candle making to use pigment powder or soy candle dye to create stunning candles for your home or business. This candle dye kit contains 16 vibrant colors of candle wax dye that work with fragrance oils and most wax types, including petroleum, soy, and paraffin.

VERY USER FRIENDLY

To work out how much dye to use, we work on a percentage of the wax used. We suggest 0.1% for lighter shades, 0.15% for medium shades, and up to 0.25% for deep dark shades. E.G. If you are lightly coloring 80 oz of wax, you will need 0.08oz of dye chips.

Heat wax to optimum dissolve temperature
Gradually add dye stirring until it dissolves
Check the color by cooling a small amount on a spoon or spatula
Keep adding the dye for the desired shade if needed
Ensure all dye dissolves to avoid streaks and patches
Due to varying differences in color intensities of the dye, the results may vary; Our 100% natural plant wax flakes can be used in many different wax types but some waxes naturally will not colour with deep intense shades. Soy wax will always finish with more pastel type colours and adding more dye will not solve this.
