Liquid dyes are highly concentrated wax colorants that readily dissolve in a variety of a hot waxes. Typical dye amount used per pound of wax is 5 drops for 0.05% level producing a medium shade. Each sample bottle colors over 22 pounds of wax to 0.05% level or 111 pounds of wax at 0.01% level. Results vary based on application.
