Opel/Vauxhall 1.0 1.2 1.4 Turbo Engine Timing Tool Set - Fits Models from 2009 Onward

This timing tool set is designed to lock the camshaft and crankshaft in place when servicing the timing chain on 1.0, 1.2 and 1.4L turbocharged engines in various Opel/Vauxhall models from 2009 onward. Suitable for:

• Adam, Astra, Ampera, Cascada, Corsa, Insignia, Meriva, Mokka, Zafira models with 1.2 or 1.4L engines
• Aveo and Cruze models with 1.2 or 1.4L engines
• Orlando models with 1.4L engines

Kit Includes:

• Crankshaft locking pin
• Camshaft setting plate
• VVT sensor setting tools for 1.0L and 1.2/1.4L engines
• Camshaft sprocket holding tool
• Chain tensioner locking pin
• Belt tensioner locking pin

To replace timing chain:

1. Ensure engine is at TDC on cylinder #1
2. Fully retract chain tensioner and secure with locking pin
3. Remove crank pulley using pulley holding tool
4. Use locking pins and setting plates/tools to secure cam/crankshaft timing
5. Remove timing chain
6. Install new timing chain and remove tools in reverse order
