The glass tea pot is made of heat-proof borosilicate glass & includes a removable and shatterproof stainless steel loose leaf tea infuser. The ultra-fine pores on the tea strainer let your loose leaf tea steep fully without fine tea particles into your cup. Its more durable than glass tea infusers.

The loose tea infuser in the Joliette glass teapot is removable. You can use it for loose leaf teas with the infuser, or blooming tea with the infuser removed. The infuser goes deep into the pot to give you a full infusion. When the tea is ready remove the infuser to stop the tea from over-steeping.
