Description

The Supco EM80 auto-ranging digital sound level meter has a range of 30 to 120 dB and is used to analyze excessive sound level problems. The meter performs A-type frequency weighting in four ranges (60 dB, 80 dB, 100 dB, and 120 dB). It has a 0.1 dB resolution, a 1.5 dB accuracy for measurements under 94 dB, and a frequency range of 31.5Hz to 8KHz. The LCD displays measurements digitally and on a bar graph. Bar graph response time is 0.25 seconds and digital response time is 0.75 seconds. The meter complies with European Union (EU) 93/68/EEC, IEC 651 Type 2, and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 standards for sound-level meters for general field use. The meter has an operating temperature of -32 to +104 degrees F (0 to 40 degrees C) and operating humidity of 10 to 80 percent RH. It is powered by three 1.5V AAA batteries (included). The meter is 6-3/32 x 2-25/64 x 1-3/16 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 5.2 oz. (180g). The meter includes a carrying case.
