What to do if the coffee maker cover doesnt close easily?

If there is a slight gap when you close the coffee maker lid, please dont worry, it is normal and wont damage your coffee maker.

Is there anything I should be aware of?

1. Dont overfill the filter 2. Close the filter lid tightly 3. Correctly place the filter into the coffee maker.

Are these reusable K cup filters compatible with the SMART models?

Unfortunately, they are not compatible. All SMART models of Keurig coffee makers have an identification system that prevents the filters from being properly recognized.
