User Instructions

Step 1 Start by turning off the rear defogger and using a clean cloth to thoroughly clean the glass surface.

Step 2 Carefully position the masking tape over the damaged area of the grid.

Step 3 Before application, stir the silver repair compound using a cotton swab.

Step 4 Utilize the plastic scraper to create a smooth and flat surface, ensuring that the silver repair compound fully covers the entire damaged line.

Step 5 Remove the masking tape immediately.

Step 6 After removing the masking tape, allow the silver repair compound to dry. Natural drying takes approximately 15-20 minutes while using a hair dryer reduces the curing time to 2-5 minutes.

Step 7 Clean any excess silver repair compound from the glass with an alcohol pad.

  • Its important to wait for a full 24 hours before reactivating the defogger.
