You should also ensure that your roots do not contain any hair product, conditioners or oils prior to application. Also be sure to put the perfect amount of hair in between each sandwich and NEVER touch the sticky side of the tape with your fingers. Using a hair tool to apply the tape is recommended.

Usually tape in extensions are applied with two tape hair wefts to form one bond. Women who have thin hair may want to use the single sided application method for application of tape extensions. The two tape wefts may be too heavy for thin hair, so single sided tape in replaced as a bond holder, instead of the second weft.
