Diffusion Stones Working Principles in Beer Carbonation: The diffusion stone will send a tremendous number of gas bubbles out
through the beer when the CO2 is connected and the minuscule bubbles will create a huge amount of surface area to help absorb CO2
rapidly into the beer! Get an easy and speedy carbonation when you are using this kit to carbonate your beer, and no need to shake the keg.
Step by Step Guide:
1. Sanitize the carbonation keg lid and the tubing, then boil the stone for 2-3 minutes to clean the pores before using.
2. Attach the tubing with a diffusion stone onto the carbonation keg lid.
3. Use the carbonation keg lid to replace your normal keg lid. (The “Stone” should be sitting inside the keg and near the bottom.)
4. Attach your gas line to the gas post on the keg lid for a quickly forced carbonation.
Please Note:
Co2 absorbs better at 34–40°F.
Please wear a glove to touch the diffusion stone, the sebum from your hand may clog the pores.
The pressure relief valve will automatically open up when the pressure in the keg reaches 50-55 psi for safety concerns,
you can also manually release the pressure by pulling it up.
We recommend carbonating your beer for at least a few hours before serving.
