How often will I need to re-tune my As Teman hand pan?

With proper playing technique, your AS Teman handpan can stay in tune for many years, if the instrument is being played with more force (like a Djembe) it will go out of tune faster, we suggest you search tutorial videos to see how proper technique is being used to keep your instrument in tune for many years.

what’s your return policy?

we offer a (7) days return policy,starting from the date you receive the instrument. So if you receive a instrument which is out of tone, please send us message , we will arrange to send replacement. we may require a clear video of the issues if an estimate is needed before we can physically see the instrument. Every As Teman has been gone through very strict quality control methods before sent out. But the shipping may cause damage which is out of any supplier’s controller.( That’s why negative review comes from).

Beyond 7 days, if you ASTEMAN out of tune or get damaged within 6month(man-made damage included), kindly please feel free to send us massage to apply for maintenance cost compensation.

Materials: (we offer two option)

‘Nitrided steel handpan (DC)

Pros: Treated, so rust resistant. Less sustain so better for percussive players.

Cons:, They still require maintenance/rust prevention treatment. Not the best choice for those who play slowly/melodically.

Nitrided Stainless steel handpan

Pros: Exceptionally rust resistant (including surface damage) so little-to-no maintenance. They have the longest sustain so great for melodic, slower players.

Cons: With long sustain, not the best choice for fast, percussive players.

Can I buy a different kind of handpan from your company?
