Why do you need this?
Simple, telescopes are typically designed to reach focus at the distance that will include a right angle mirror. SV158 extension tube allows you to extend the focal point without additional loss of light and distortion of another bit of optics

The whole SV158 2" extension tube is made of metal and the surface is completely black anodized. Greatly extended its service life

The threading is on the inside so the filter when attached will not cause any problems and will fit into the focuser easily
