Description

The Corning 6795PR external temperature controller has a temperature range of 5 to 200 degrees C, and it is for use with the Corning PC-400D and PC-600D series digital hot plates and PC-420D and PC-620D series stirring hot plates (sold separately). This temperature controller is used to control the temperature of liquid samples during heating or stirring and heating operations.

Laboratory hot plates are electric or gas-fired benchtop appliances that are used to heat glassware or its liquid or solid contents. Stirring hot plates can stir a liquid solution by means of a stir bar that is spun magnetically inside the vessel holding the solution. Hot plates are commonly used in scientific research, clinics, and classrooms.
