What is the best way to hold and use the flexible bit?

Hold the bushing at the tip of the flexible screwdriver bit when in use to maintain the best control. Engage the ratchet function to tighten or loosen screws faster when the bit is in the flexed position.

Will the flexible bit maintain its shape? Will the flexible bit stay bent without my help?

The flex bit will not maintain its flexed position unless held or when a screwdriver bit is fully inserted into a fastener head. The flex bit will spring back straight when not in use. This allows greater torque to be applied when in use.

Can you use the flexible bit with a drill?

Yes, but special care should be taken not to over torque the bit. Use drills on the lowest torque setting and go slowly. Please see our flexible drill bit extension product for use with higher torque applications.

How do I open the bit storage compartment?

Unscrew the cap at the end of the flexible screwdriver and place the screwdriver bits inside. The screwdriver bit storage connects with the underside of the cap.

How is the flexible bit attached to the screwdriver handle? What is the maximum diameter of the flexible bit?

The flexible bit attaches with powerful magnets. The maximum diameter of the flexible bit is 1/2" (12.70mm).
