The initial idea of Mola emerged during a postgraduate program in architecture when our founder was concerned about the abstract approach to structure-related topics. In 2014, after ten years of design development, we launched the first Mola Structural Kit.
Our goal is to assist the teaching and learning of structures more playfully and intuitively, expanding the knowledge of students, professionals, and laypeople on the functioning of the structures surrounding us.

Mola Structural Kit 2 is also a great starter set to explore and realistically simulate different structural systems, such as grid, stayed column, trussed beam, and geodesics in a playful and tangible way.
Mola 2 splice connections unlock continuous pillars, continuous beams, transition beams, and more. Plates and diagonal pieces come in new sizes, offering you more room to flex your creativity muscles.
Mola Structural Kit 2 works independently and it is also compatible with:
- Mola Structural Kit 1
- Mola Structural Kit 3
