Better: Series 9420/9490 features cabinetry formed from 5/8-inch compressed wood with square-edge corners and a laminate finish with a solid fiberboard back for strength and rigidity. The hardboard shelves form letter-sized compartments with up to a 15-pound capacity and can be adjusted or removed to increase the height size of the individual compartments for storage of books, three-ring binders, or personal mementos. The 16- or 14-compartment versions include a metal rod adapter to store and organize CDs in the bottom two compartments. Black plastic molding complements the finish while doubling as a convenient labeling area (labels included).

Even more, the 39-1/2-inch-wide units are stackable up to three units high or 72 compartments for expanded storage needs. Connector wooden dowels come included to join stacked units to create a solid and stable piece of furniture. Choose either medium oak or gray wood laminate finish.
