Conventional Hanger has one hook at bottom, and one or more nail-guiding projectiles at top. The disadvantages are:

Can PairMount plastic hanger offer the same load capacity of conventional metal hanger?
Yes, PairMount 45 lb. Hanger has been test-proven to carry 45 lb. weight on drywall, which is equivalent to the load capacity of conventional 50 lb. metal hanger .
- Load capacity of drywall hanger is determined by the material strength of drywall rather than the material strength of hanger body. This is because drywall has weaker strength.
- Load capacity of drywall hanger is determined by the maximum weight that causes the hanger to fall off from wall when drywall is deformed and incapable of holding the nails of hanger within wall.
- When drywall hanger carries weight exceeding its load capacity, it will fall off from wall before being deformed or damaged. This is the reason why load capacity of drywall hanger is not determined by the material strength of hanger body.
- PairMount 45 lb. hanger is capable of carrying weight much greater than 50 lb. if it is used on wood stud.

The Theory & Equation of PairMount Hanger
Fig.1 is the mechanic diagram of conventional hanger.
Fig. 2 is the mechanic diagram of PairMount hanger.
The governing Equation is:
F = Ft x B/A
F is the load of hanger,
A is the depth of hook,
B is the height of hanger,
Ft is the nail pull-out force.
The above equation demonstrates that load F is proportional to height B. Therefore, PairMount hanger can achieve the same load capacity of conventional hanger, provided each hanger has the same height.
