Using Method
1.Put the filter membrane in a clean container, soak it in distilled water at about 70 ℃ for more than 4 hours, and then clean it with distilled water before use.
2. Put the cleaned filter membrane (wet) into the matched filter to prevent leakage around, and then the filter can be carried out. Because the pore size of the filter membrane is relatively small, the flow rate of atmospheric filtration is slow. Generally, vacuum pump negative pressure filtration or air pump pressure filtration can be used.
3. In the actual use process, for the operation which is not particularly high requirements, it can be directly filtered without the above steps, but it will have a slight impact on the filtration speed or the flexibility of the filter membrane. The flexibility of the filter membrane after soaking treatment will be better, not easy to break, and the flow rate will be faster.
4. The precision belongs to the fine filtration range, which is generally not suitable for the filtration of liquid with more impurities and the liquid with higher viscosity. If the filtration pressure increases significantly (above 0.15Mpa) and the flow rate decreases significantly or no liquid is produced after filtering a certain amount, the filter membrane needs to be replaced. For the solution with more impurities, it can be filtered with filter membrane or other filter media with higher precision.
Sterilization Method
1. Steam sterilization, 30 minutes.
2. Autoclave sterilization (125 ℃. 30 minutes). For sterilization by this method, the filter membrane should be soaked in distilled water for more than half an hour, and the filter membrane should be kept moist during sterilization.
3. Rinse in 75% ethanol solution for a short time.
4. Ethylene oxide sterilization.
