Description

The “WICKED” PLB dive canister is the highest quality, most versatile canister we can make.

✓ The water tight storage cylinder is encased in a durable web binding strap and is easily secured to your BC waist belt; making it instantly available for use should an emergency arise. In addition, the highly reflective surface of the MYLAR space blanket, the foil serves as a signaling device and is easily spotted for miles away and exponentially increasing your chances of rescue. A far better solution than the safety sausage you will still continue to carry on every open water dive.

✓ Sun exposure and hypothermia are some of the most serious safety issues for divers lost at sea for short durations. This space blanket provides full protection from the sun and helps to conserve critical heat loss from the head and neck area at night, quite possibly saving your life. The space blanket can alternatively be used to capture, drink and store rainwater in the open canister.

✓ The water activated emergency beacon that is also included in the package set is designed to last 8+ hours of high intensity operation. Note that the battery expiration is February of 2028. While this battery is currently not replaceable, there are numerous substitute beacons readily available for purchase and can be inserted at a later date when required.

Note: never open the canister or take it off your BCD unless needed in an emergency. Keeping the canister on your waist belt, right next to the tank keeps the unit out of the way and also allows for tank changes without the need to remove the canister for any reason.

Having the “WICKED” PLB dive canister always at the ready, you’re now prepared that in the event that dingy or boat isn’t there when you surface in unexpectedly heavy current, you will have in place the needed equipment to give you best chance of immediate detection and overall survival.
