Grumbacher Turpentine is a traditional solvent for oil painting and it improves paint flow by thinning oils. The rapid evaporation of turpentine promotes polymerization of oil paint and mediums, thus speeding dry time. Improves flow, dissolves wet color easily, and evaporates rapidly. Can be applied directly to oil paint or used in painting and glazing mediums. Turpentine may also be used to clean painting equipment.
