Feature

●For safe and fast determination of serum protein content and specific gravity of the urine.
●The specific weight is a measure of the ability of the kidney to concentrate urine and is an important method for the investigation of renal function.
●Measurement range: Serum protein (serum protein): 2 to 14 g / 100 ml; Breeding index: 1,000-1,060RI Dog (dogs and large animals); 1,000-1,060RI Cat
●Accuracy: Total serum protein: ± 0.2g / 100ml; Refractive index: ± 0.001RI Dog (dogs and large animals); Refractive index: ± 0.001RI Cat
●Built-in automatic temperature compensation (ATC) to get faster results.

Description

Animal Clinical Refractometer Urine Specific Gravity Serum Protein Analyzer Dog Cat Pet/Animal Health Monitoring Tool

Feature
1.Pet Health Monitoring Tool: Animal clinical refractometer for testing animal urine specific gravity and serum or plasma protein for health indicators
2.Precise monitoring:
a. On the left is to detect the urine specific gravity of large animals, such as dogs,
b. The middle is to detect the urine specific gravity of small animals, such as cats,
c. On the right are serum or plasma protein levels measured in all animals.
3. Measuring range:
a. serum or plasma protein(SP): 2-14g/dl
b. urine specific gravity of dogs(or large animals): 1.000~1.060RI
c. urine specific gravity of cats(or small animals): 1.000~1.060RI
4.Automatic temperature compensation: Under different temperature conditions, automatically adjust to the best measurement temperature
5.Easy to operate: Get accurate readings in seconds with just 2-3 drops.
6.Specially designed for pets, especially dogs, cats, but also suitable for other small and large animals, such as sheep, horses, monkeys, pigs, chickens, etc. With this refractometer you can: Quickly test the health of domestic or wild animals
7.Normal urine specific gravity range reference data:
Cats; 1.001-1.080 S.G.
Dogs: 1.001-1.065 S.G.

Calibration method
1. Calibration: Accurate measurements depend on careful calibration. To accurately calibrate the ATC Salinity Refractometer, first ensure that the ambient temperature is around 68°F. It is recommended that you calibrate in an air-conditioned room with the temperature set to 68°F. You can use distilled water for calibration. Open the cover, put 2-3 drops of distilled water on the prism, then close the cover, make sure the water spreads over the prism without air bubbles or dry spots. Wait about 30 seconds for the reading to stabilize. Look into the eyepiece and turn the calibration screw with a screwdriver until it reads "0".
2. Clean the prism with a soft cloth, then drop 2-3 drops of the liquid sample to be tested on the prism and observe the eyepiece to get the reading.
3. Wipe the refractometer with a soft cloth and put it back in the box. Keeping the refractometer dry and clean makes the instrument accurate and durable.
