Useful Window Film Installation Steps

  1. Clean the windows to make sure the windows are clean.
  2. Measure and cut the film to the proper size you need.
  3. Remove the backing film(very important).
  4. Spray lots of water on the window. (Dont regret the water, which will help you to squeeze out excess air and bubbles easily.)
  5. Stick the window film to the window.
  6. Remove excess water and air from top to bottom with a scraper, otherwise the window film will easily fall off.

Is static cling film suitable for a bathroom window?

Yes.

Is this easily removable? (or does it leave marks)

Couldnt be easier as its non-adhesive. Just simply peel it off the glass. It takes seconds and theres no glue residue to clean.

Is this film smooth on both sides?

No, the side that adheres to the glass is smooth, and the side facing your room is textured which is what creates the obscured view from outside.

Can static cling window films be re-used at a later stage?

Yes it can, but youll need to ensure that the static side is protected. We recommend you keep the clear liner the film came with so that it can be re-applied to the film for safekeeping.

The privacy film can not stick well on the window. Do you have any suggestions?

Each roll of window film has a transparent backing film. Check if the backing film has been removed before applying.
