This product features materials for the excavated dodecahedron, which is considered an advanced weaving project but is one of the more beginner-friendly in our store. Each package includes 6 sets of materials, allowing you to create 6 excavated dodecahedron. The materials are pre-cut and scored for your convenience. In geometry, the excavated dodecahedron is considered a stellation of the icosahedron. However, based on its name, it appears as a dodecahedron with concave pentagonal pyramids, where each pentagonal pyramids lateral faces are regular triangles. This implies that its weaving structure is also similar to that of a rattan ball. The same weaving structure is also present in the small stellated dodecahedron.
