Temple Wind Gongs bring Uranian tones of insight and epiphany, mixed with calm meditative sounds of devotion and repose. Made in the classic Wind Gong style, it is lathed with no rim. The lack of the rim helps to open the sound, allowing the gong to be brought to a full, complex crash. To allow for the engraving of the outer edge, the outer ring of the gong is left unlathed, helping to contain some of the crash, bringing some focus and clarity to the overall sound and adding a level of control.
