ALL FOOT ENCOMPASSING BINDINGGold series snowshoes have the Crescent Moon single pull loop binding. The all foot encompassing binding is made of flexible polymer which wraps around your foot and provides excellent support and comfort and wont come out of adjustment. With a pull of the loop on top of the binding the entire harness system is tightened – or loosened – with one hand - even with gloves on! |
TEARDROP SHAPED PLATFORMOur tear drop shaped frame provides outstanding maneuverability without loss of floatation. This unique shape allows you to walk and run naturally without changing your stride or waddling. The frames are made with high-grade aluminum tubing for strength. The decking is lightweight, durable, highly abrasion resistant, and quiet, noticeably different from plastic snowshoes. |
SUPREME TRACTIONAggressive 3 crampon stainless steel traction system provides outstanding grip in all terrains, but particularly in hard pack and icy conditions, and on climbs and traverses. We include Crescent Moons unique climbing toe claw which is important for digging in when climbing hills or mountains and helps with push-off when hiking or running. Gold 10 and Gold 17 snowshoes include extra traversing claws on the frame sides. |
HEEL LIFTS INCLUDEDGold series snowshoes include two lightweight removable heel lifts. What is a heel lift? Its an optional feature for your snowshoes that makes climbing more efficient, improves traction, and increases your comfort by reducing the strain on your calves. Who needs a heel lift? If you ascend mountains & hills youll appreciate heel lifts. If youre spending most of your time on flatter or rolling terrain, you probably dont need the heel lift. Tools arent required to remove or put heel lifts on. |
GOLD 9 ALL-TERRAIN UNISEX SNOWSHOES
Recommended on steep, rolling or flat terrain
Gold 9s are our best all-around snow shoe. Features aggressive stainless steel crampons including Crescent Moons unique climbing toe claw along with a main claw immediately below the ball of your foot and at the heel. There wont be any slipping or sliding allowed with these all-terrain trail snowshoes, even on hard and icy inclines.
Our entire Gold series utilizes our all foot encompassing binding system. Youll feel support in every direction of movement - uphill, downhill, traversing terrain, walking, or running. Our binding system is easy and fast to get on and off. Instead of nylon we use hypalon strapping, a nearly unbreakable waterproof material.
