●It has a 2-in-1 charging mode (battery overcharge protection) and discharging mode (battery low voltage protection). The charging mode can be used for solar charging, and the battery automatically disconnects when it reaches the set voltage. The discharging mode can be used for battery low voltage protection.
●Two low-power modes: automatic mode and manual mode. Manual mode consumes 0 power after the relay disconnects, and manual button reset is required after disconnection;
●In automatic mode, the relay enters a low-power mode after disconnecting (LED turns off after 60s without any button action, and the LED resumes display when a button is pressed again). Standby current is 5mA (18V), and it automatically restarts when the voltage is restored.
●The device has an internal flash storage module, so all settings can be restored after a power off.

  • WARNING

  1. Please make sure that "IN+ IN- OUT+ OUT-" and the positive and negative poles of the battery cannot be reversed. Reverse connection will damage the product, battery and charger;
  2. The charging mode and discharging mode need to use the button setting to switch the mode before use. See the description below for the switching method.
  3. It is a charging/discharging controller but not a charger or voltage converter.

Quick start:

1. Discharge mode (battery low voltage protection mode)

For example: the working voltage of the battery is 18V, and the low-power protection voltage of the battery is 15V. It is expected to cut off the discharge when the battery voltage is less than or equal to 15V. The settings are as follows:

a. Connect the circuit according to "Figure 4.1 Discharge mode connection diagram".

b. "SWITCH 2" switch to "M" position, press "UP" or "DOWN" when the LED displays "01" Short press "SET", then the module is set to discharge mode 1.

c. "SWITCH 2" switches to "V", press "UP" or "DOWN", when the LED displays "CL", short press "SET", then press "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust the LED display value, set The value of "CL" is 15V, then press "SET" to save the value and exit the setting, and the setting will take effect.

d. "SWITCH 2" switches to "V" position, press "UP" or "DOWN" when the LED displays "CH", short press "SET", then press "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust the LED display value, set The value of "CH" is 15.5V, then press "SET" to save the value and exit the setting, the setting will take effect.

e. Switch "SWITCH 1" as needed. If it is manual mode, you need to press S1 to start the module manually, and it is not necessary for automatic mode.

2.Charging mode

For example: the working voltage of the battery is 18V, and the full saturation voltage is 20V. When the battery voltage is less than 18V, start charging, and when the battery voltage is greater than 20V, stop charging.

a. Connect the circuit according to "Figure 4.2 Connection Diagram of Charging Mode".

b. "SWITCH 2" switch to "M" position, press "UP" or "DOWN" when the LED displays "3", short press "SET", then the module is set to charging mode 3.

c. "SWITCH 2" switches to "V", press "UP" or "DOWN", when the LED displays "CL", short press "SET", then press "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust the LED display value, set The value of "CL" is 18V, then press "SET" to save the value and exit the setting, and the setting will take effect.

d. "SWITCH 2" switches to "V" position, press "UP" or "DOWN" when the LED displays "CH", short press "SET", then press "UP" or "DOWN" to adjust the LED display value, set The value of "CH" is 20V, then press "SET" to save the value and exit the setting, and the setting will take effect.

e. Switch "SWITCH 1" as needed. If it is manual mode, you need to press S1 to start the module manually, and it is not necessary for automatic mode.
